Study Sessions (except for Executive Sessions) are open to the public and items for discussion are included on this agenda. Agendas (except for Executive Sessions agendas) are available through the Commissioners’ Office or through the County’s web site at www.arapahoegov.com. Please note that the Board may discuss any topic relevant to County business, whether or not the topic has been specifically noticed on this agenda. In particular, the Board typically schedules time each Monday under “Committee Updates” to discuss a wide range of topics. Long’s Pine Grove Addition - Property Lease from Denver Water

Discussion of a request from Open Spaces to enter into a property lease with Denver Water to add acreage to Arapahoe County’s Long’s Pine Grove Open Space property.  The proposal is for a long-term (20 year) lease with Denver Water for a 1-acre parcel of land adjacent to the County’s Long Pine Grove Open Space property. Authorization is being requested for Shannon Carter, Intergovernmental Relations and Open Spaces Director, to sign all documents related to the lease, as well as a license agreement with Denver Water to construct a pedestrian bridge over the High Line Canal to connect Long's Pine Grove with the High Line Canal Trail
