Rod Bockenfeld is serving his second term as Commissioner representing District 3 and is serving as Chair for 2010. As Commissioner,
Rod oversees the County Attorney's Office, Public Works and Development, Communication Services, Special Assistant to the
Board of County Commissioners and the Board of County Commissioners Administration departments. He was sworn in January 2009
and his term will expire January 2013.
Rod represents the County's interests on a variety of boards and committees including: Chairman of the Denver Regional Council
of Governments, Chairman of the National Association of Counties Fiscal Policy sub-committee, Chairman of the Denver Regional
Transportation Committee, Arapahoe County Public AIrport Authority, Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority and Colorado Counties
Inc. Taxation and Finance and Transportation committees.
