Commissioner Bill Holen represents District 5 which includes the City of Glendale and portions of the City of Aurora. He was first appointed Commissioner in January 2012 and elected to his first term as Commissioner in January 2013. As Commissioner, Bill oversees the Information Technology and Community Resources departments and serves on the IT Steering Committee.

He represents Arapahoe County on a variety of local and regional issues, including the Board of Social Services, Housing Authority, Metro Area County Commissioners, Aurora Chamber Board of Directors, Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network Governing Board, Colorado Counties Inc. Transportation and Telecommunications committee, Cherry Creek Basin Water Quality Authority, E-470 Public Highway Authority, Cherry Creek Basin Working Group, Forfeiture Board for the District Attorney and the Sheriff’s Office, National Association of Counties Transportation subcommittee and Metro Crisis Services, Inc.
