Colorado law governs the fee structure for all vehicle registrations. The fees are uniform statewide and administered by the Department of Revenue through the county clerks' offices.

Arapahoe County payment information:

• Payment options for Motor Vehicle are cash, check, money order and credit cards Credit cards accepted are Visa, Master Card American Express and Discover. Drivers License only accepts cash or check as a form of payment.
• There is a 2.7 percent service fee on the total amount of the transaction.
• Checks must be payable to "Arapahoe County Clerk" for the exact amount. Please note, a check will not be accepted for transactions under $10.
