The Arapahoe County Motor Vehicle Division handles the licensing and registration of vehicles for Arapahoe County citizens.
Increase in Vehicle Registration Fees

Exceptions: Collector plated vehicles (5-yr. registration) are charged the SB09-108 add-on fees for one year only and the
fee increase for farm trucks/tractors is 1/2 of the amount listed above. The fees do not apply to vehicles (+50 yrs) with
horseless carriage registration.
Caution: Late Registration Penalty effective June 1, 2009
A late registration penalty of $25 for each month or portion of a month that a vehicle is not registered after the one month
grace period, not to exceed $100, will be charged beginning June 1, 2009. Expired temporary permit registrations are also
included in the $25 penalty. There is no grace period for permits.
