On November 10, 2009, the Arapahoe County Board of County Commissioners approved the adoption of the Fairgrounds and Regional Park Master Plan. This plan is a vision for the future and the ideas presented were cultivated through numerous conversations with stakeholders. The entire plan is available below.

The Arapahoe County Fairgrounds, a multipurpose events center, is the permanent home of the County Fair.The 45,000 square-foot events/exhibition center, which is the first building of several planned for the 236-acre site, is designed to serve a variety of functions in addition to the County Fair, such as meetings, graduations, science fairs, seminars, receptions, conferences and exhibits.
