Adopt a Senior
Befriend someone who can share the wisdom that comes with life. Adopt a senior and experience the joy of an intergenerational
relationship. Make a commitment to keep in regular contact with a senior by:
- Visiting them regularly
- Offering a helping hand
- Remembering them during the holidays
- Celebrating special occasions
- Calling or sending a card or note
- Sharing a meal
Timeframe: Four hours per month; One-year or longer commitment
Location: Varies
Qualifications:
- Age 21 or older
- Complete a written application and interview
- Pass a background check
- Attend position-specific training
