Adoption Support Group Assistant
Volunteers are needed to help supervise adopted children, ages 6 months through 18 years, while their parents attend a training/support
group one night per week for 16 weeks. Volunteers can lead crafts or activities, help youth with their homework, help with
set-up and clean-up and make a difference in the lives of youth.
Timeframe: 6-9 p.m., Wednesdays for 16 consecutive weeks (this group runs 2-3 times per year)
Location: Arapahoe County CentrePoint Plaza, 14980 E. Alameda Drive, Aurora
Qualifications:
- Age 21 or older
- Complete a volunteer application form
- Pass a background check
- Attend position-specific training
