Alternative Community Service Program Volunteer

Alternative Community Service Program volunteers assist County employees with administrative workin conjunction with managing adults and youth who have been sentenced tocommunity service hours as a condition of probation, or in lieu of a jail sentence.Volunteer duties might include answering phones, filing, data entry and general office assistance. Bilingual volunteers who can support clients on the phone in Spanish also are needed.

Timeframe: 4 hours per week on a weekday, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Judicial Services Division
7305 S. Potomac Street, Suite 150, Centennial

                 or

Arapahoe County Altura Plaza
Judicial Services Division
15400 E. 14th Place, 4th Floor, Aurora

Qualifications:

  • Age 21 or older
  • Complete a volunteer application form
  • Pass a background check
  • Attend position-specific training
  • The County also is seeking bilingual volunteers who can make reminder calls in Spanish.
