
Arapahoe County Fair Volunteer
The Arapahoe County Fair takes place every year over five days in July at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds and Regional Park
in Aurora. More than 400 volunteers are needed each year to help make this fun event a success. Individuals, families, and
groups are welcome to volunteer to help the event go without a hitch. Many positions are available to fit your unique talents
and interests.
Following are just a few areas where volunteers are needed:
- Ambassadors and Greeters

- Contest Judges
- Stage Assistants
- Mascots and Mascot Handlers
- Information Booth Hosts
- Exhibit Hall Hosts 4-H
- Children’s Game Leaders
- Educational Exhibit Hosts
Volunteers each receive a T-shirt and free general admission (carnival rides not included) to the fair on the day(s) they
work.
Timeframe: Late July of each year. Shifts generally last four hours, with breaks provided, and start times vary.

Qualifications:
- Age 12 or older
- Complete a Fair volunteer application
- Attend mandatory volunteer orientation
