Kidz Night Out Volunteer

“Kidz Night Out” is a monthly evening of free supervision, food and fun for youth who are involved in the child welfare system on one night each month, while their foster, adoptive, kinship or biological families enjoy a night off. Volunteers are needed to help supervise youth, ages 6 months through 18 years. Volunteers can lead crafts or activities, help youth with their homework, help with set-up and clean-up, and make a difference in the lives of youth..

Timeframe:  One weeknight per month, 6-8 p.m.                                    

Location:  Arapahoe County CentrePoint Plaza, 14980 E. Alameda Drive, Aurora

Qualifications:

  • Age 21 or older
  • Complete a volunteer application form
  • Pass a background check
  • Attend position-specific training
