Workforce Center Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to support the front-desk staff at Arapahoe/Douglas Works!, a publicly-funded workforce center that
provides no-cost employment assistance to job-seekers and local businesses in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties.
As a volunteer, you may come into contact with more than 200 job-seekers each day who come in to use free computers with internet,
take a free job-search workshop, attend a hiring event, take a personality or skills assessment, or meet with a career counselor.
Volunteers might perform the following duties:
- Greeters and Customer Service
- Answering Phones
- Filing/Mailing
- Staff Support
- Scheduling Appointments and Activities
Timeframe: Four hours per week during office hours, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications:
- Age 21 or older
- Complete a written application and interview
- Pass a background check
- Attend position-specific training
