Tia and Derrick are adorable and very cuddly. They love hugs! They are both very active and enjoy playing outside, especially
splashing in the water this summer. They play well with other children. They are both very coordinated. Tia and Derrick
are both small for their age but eat and sleep well. Both children suffer from mild respiratory issues and receive occasional
nebulizer treatments. Tia also has eczema and MRSA for which she receives antibiotics. Tia appears to be developmentally
on target although she has not had an evaluation yet. She is almost potty trained and is somewhat independent. She loves
to dance, sing and write. She loves pink and girly things. She is shy at first with new people and then can be quite talkative.
Derrick was exposed to cocaine in utero. He also appears to be developmentally on track but has not had an evaluation either.
He is working on potty training. He is very active and loves to run and play. He likes to play t-ball. He is very close
with his sister. It is important for these children to maintain a relationship with their older sister, their grandmother,
and their great-aunt. These children are legally freed for adoption.
