
The Adolescent Intake team supports teens with serious problems in school, lack of respect for authority, drug or alcohol
involvement, severe legal involvement, conflicted family relationships and runaways. Youth In Conflict services work to alleviate
conflicts, protect youth and the community, re-establish family stability, and/or assist youth to emancipate successfully.
Services are provided when the conflicts have the potential to affect the youth's well-being, the normal functioning of the
family or the well-being of the community. Specific services might include foster or other out-of-home care, or in-home services
similar to those provided to families of abused or neglected children.
A family must take advantage of all available community resources and have exhausted their private insurance options prior
