Child Protective Services

Our Child Protective Services team receives and investigates reports of suspected child abuse or neglect.

When a family becomes involved with our child welfare or youth services systems, thefamily is invited to attend a LINKS meeting within 72 hours, and again every 90 days. LINKS is a one-hour meeting at the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services that engages and works with families to develop plans for the safety and care of children and support of families.

Families who are assessed to need intervention are offered a variety of services designed to make the family and home safe for the child. Typical services might include:

Case Aides work to ensure that the well being of children is protected; while enhancing family strengths through respect, support and guidance.
