The Infrastructure & Operations Division provides 7 x 24 x 365 support for five major functions: Desktop Support, Network
Administration, Systems Administration, Operations, and Asset Management. Desktop Support provides support for over 2300
PC workstations, printers, scanners, plotters and PDAs. Network Administration provides support for the County‘s data and
voice network including over 3000 voice ports. They also provide support for new cabling requests and manage the external/internal
communications circuits and vendors. Systems Administration provides support for application servers, remote access, e-mail
and electronic archiving. These support groups are frequently called upon to move technology associated with end user moves.
