What happens if you are the successful bidder?

The successful bidder will be given until noon to bring the additional certified funds to the Public Trustee Office.  The office is located at 2329 W. Main St., Ste, 100, Littleton, CO 80120.  Map



  • Certificate of Purchase

Notice of Election and Demand recorded
    2008 to Present  -The Certificate of Purchase will be available on line
    2007 and Prior    -Duplicate Certificate of Purchase will be emailed to holder

  • Redemption Rights

Notice of Election and Demand recorded
    2008 to Present -No owner redemption period
    2007 and Prior  -75 days owner redemption period

  • Title Vests

Notice of Election and Demand recorded
    2008 to Present - Nine business days after sale if no lienorintentsare filed or when all Redemption rights expire

    2007 and prior   -76 days after sale to Certificate of Purchase holder

  • Public Trustee Confirmation Deed Request

2010- present   Nine (9) business days after sale if no lienor intents have been filed or the expiration of all redemption periods

2008-2009 Fifteen (15) days after sale if no lienor intents have been filed or the expiration of all redemption periods

2007- prior After the owner redemption period has ended and all redemption rights have expired
