The Arapahoe County Planning Division is proposing to adopt summary amendments for the purpose of updating the 2002 Strasburg
SubArea Plan and the 2003 Byers SubArea Plan, both of which are adopted elements of the Arapahoe County Comprehensive Plan.
Summaries of the changes are provided below.
F10-001 Strasburg SubArea Plan Update:
- Documents completion of the 2009 Strasburg Community Needs Assessment Survey;
- Documents adoption of the Downtown Strasburg Overlay Zone;
- Documents additional studies and plan updates underway and changing conditions in the area that may influence the timing and
need for a future update to this plan.
F10-002 Byers SubArea Plan Update:
- Documents completion of the 2007 Strasburg Community Needs Assessment Survey, finalized January 2008, and subsequent community
involvement efforts;
- Documents approval of a County-initiated rezoning of the Bijou Telephone Coop property to comply with the land use recommendations
of the Byers SubArea Plan;
- Documents additional studies and plan updates underway and changing conditions in the area that may influence the timing and
need for a future update to this plan.
