Arapahoe County proposes amendments to the Arapahoe County Land Development Code to include revisions to the County's Commercial Mobile Radio Service (CMRS) regulations (Section 12-1100) (wireless communication regulations).

Case Number W10-017 - Commercial Mobile Radio Service Revisions (CMRS) Regulations

The Arapahoe County Planning Commission recommended approval of the revised draft code on July 26, 2011.   

Modifications include:       

•        Clarification of the wireless classification system
•       Provisions for use of County Rights-of-Way – for attached facilities
•        An allowance for an alternative setback request
•        Clarification of the carrier acknowledgement form
•        Discussion of the Federal Shot Clock
•        A revised appeal process
•        Provision for outside referrals
