Budget and Logistics

The Sheriff's Office budget is supported by the County's General Fund with the exception of Patrol Services. The Patrol budget receives supplemental funding from the Arapahoe Law Enforcement Authority. Taxpayers living in unincorporated Arapahoe County pay this mill levy which supports law enforcement services in the unincorporated area.

Budget and Logistics oversees the Sheriff's Office budget, which includes the General Fund, Forfeiture Fund, Commissary Fund and the Arapahoe Law Enforcement Authority Fund. All expenditures and certain revenues within the budget are processed and maintained by the six member Budget and Logistics staff, which is overseen by Gail Thrasher.
