The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office continues to promote car seat safety for children. In addition to conducting car seat
safety checks, the Sheriff’s Office is providing car seat stickers which parents can use to put there child’s information
on their car seat. The purpose behind this program is to attach the child’s information to their seat so that, in the unfortunate
event of an accident where the adult in the vehicle is unconscious, the individual children can be identified by Law Enforcement
and Fire Rescue personnel.
To obtain stickers, please stop by our Headquarters located at 13101 East Broncos Parkway, Centennial, during normal business
hours, or contact Deputy Brian McKnight 720-874-3750 or bmckinght@co.arapahoe.co.us and we will mail them to you. Deputy McKnight may also be contacted to schedule a car seat safety inspection. Car seat inspections
are designed to ensure that seats meet national safety standards and parents know how to properly install the seats. Inspections
are by appointment only.
