On June 25, 2009, a citizen arrived at Swedish Hospital Emergency Room with a deceased 29-year-old female in the hatch back
section of his vehicle.
The citizen claimed that the deceased female had been feeling ill and was vomiting during the night.
During the preliminary investigation, investigators drove to the Centennial home to preserve it as a possible crime scene
and to follow up on information regarding possible drug use.Investigators sealed the home, contacted South Metro Drug Task
Force and petitioned the court for a search warrant.
Upon entry, Investigators located the following:

181 Marijuana Plants - Estimated $217,500 street value
Four pounds of Marijuana (approx) - Estimated $16,000 street value
Six grams Psilocybin Mushrooms – Estimated $10 street value
Forty one pounds of Cocaine - Estimated $19,000 street value
Ninety five ounces of various scheduled/controlled prescription medications –estimated $60,000 street value

2 - Ruger - .38 caliber revolvers
1 – Smith and Wesson .44 Magnum revolver
Investigators and agents collected the items.
The charges related to the drugs are being handled by South Metro Drug Task Force. A coroner’s toxicology report is pending
and the investigation into the death is continuing.
On June 17, 2009, a patrol deputy located a suspicious occupied vehicle parked in the area of 2280 S. Quebec St. As the deputy
approached the parked car, it sped away. The deputy did not pursue the vehicle.
While the deputy continued to check the area for the car, a by-stander waived him down and informed him that a vehicle had
crashed into the Highline Canal.
The driver was tracked and located by K-9. He was in the bushes several hundred yards from the wrecked vehicle and refused
to comply with the orders of the dog handler. The suspect did sustain injury from dog bites. The driver denied knowledge that
the vehicle was stolen.
Investigators followed up with leads in the case and verified the identity of the passenger. The passenger was interviewed
by investigators and admitted that both he and the driver knew that the vehicle was stolen.
