Shooting:
On May 30, 2008, deputies investigated a shooting in unincorporated Arapahoe County, along East Smoky Hill Road. Unknown suspects
had fired shots into a moving vehicle from another car, nearly striking the occupants inside. Deputies followed up on the
information obtained at the scene and the statements provided by the victims. Although information regarding the suspects
was minimal, deputies were able to develop additional leads.
In less than a week from the time of the shooting, the suspect vehicle involved in the incident was located and impounded.
Shortly thereafter, two suspects were taken into custody. Both suspects and witnesses were promptly interviewed by ACSO investigators
assigned to the case and enough evidence and information was acquired to file charges for Criminal Attempt First Degree Murder.
Graffiti:
In an effort to aid in the apprehension and prosecution of those who engage in graffiti, a spread sheet identifying various
graffiti patterns will be utilized by investigators. Analysis of this information has already led to the contact of suspects.
