TO REPORT A TRAFFIC CRASH:

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office responds to and investigates all traffic crashes in the City of Centennial, Town of Foxfield, and Town of Deer Trail.   The Colorado State Patrol handles crashes in unincorporated Arapahoe County.  If the CSP has an extended response time, sheriff's deputies can be authorized to take crash reports in the unincorporated areas of Arapahoe County.  

If you have been involved in a motor vehicle crash on any public roadway, report it by calling the sheriff's communication center 303-795-4711. 

If you have been involved in a motor vehicle crash on private property in the City of Centennial, Town of Foxfield or Town of Deer Trail, you must complete an online crash report form.   At the bottom of that page under Helpful Resources, click on State Accident Report Form. Print out the paperwork and once completed, the form can be mailed to the sheriff's office or can be dropped off at 13101 East Broncos Parkway, Centennial, CO 80112. 

If you have been involved in a motor vehicle crash on private property in unincorporated Arapahoe County, you must complete a  Colorado State Patrol Online Crash Report Form.  Once completed, the form can be sent electronically to the Colorado State Patrol or mailed to their offices.        

 

TO OBTAIN A COPY OF AN ARAPAHOE COUNTY SHERIFF'S TRAFFIC CRASH REPORT:

ONLINE OPTION -  Crash reports which occurred in the City of Centennial, Town of Foxfield and Town of Deer Trail can be obtained online at the  Docview website.  This is an internet based application developed to help law enforcement agencies, citizens and insurance companies access and print traffic crash reports at their own computers 24 hours per day 7 days a week (without having to travel to sheriff's headquarters).  The fee for crash reports obtained online from this system is $11.00 per report.  

IN PERSON - You may obtain a copy of a crash report which occurred in the City of Centennial, Town of Foxfield, or Town of Deer Trail by responding to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office at 13101 East Broncos Parkway, Centennial, CO between the hours of 7:00AM and 6:00 PM to obtain a copy.  You will be required to complete a public request form, show proof of ID and pay the report fee. The fee for accident reports obtained at the Records Office is $5.00 per accident up to 10 pages and .25 cents per page thereafter. 

BY MAIL - You may obtain a copy of your crash report by mailing a request to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, Records Section, 13101 East Broncos Parkway, Centennial, CO.  Please include the following:  

Copy of the Drivers License of the person involved, daytime contact phone number, date and time of the crash, and the case report number.

Please include a self addressed stamped envelope.

Please include a check or money order payable to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office in the amount $5.00.
