The Treasurer's Office offers several methods for requesting tax information as well as making tax payments. Companies unable
to comply with any of the automated procedures may be subject to a $15 per hour charge with a minimum charge of $15 for manually
processing tax requests or payments exceeding 50 parcels. Manual payments most likely will result in delayed posting due to
the excessive amount of time required to process these payments.
Tax payment information must include a complete AIN number and the amount remitted for each parcel. If research is required
due to incomplete information, posting of your payment could be substantially delayed. Again, there may be a $15 per hour
charge for researching and reconciling your transmittal.
As you may or may not know, installment amounts are not always equal; therefore the tax amounts need to be reconfirmed before
remitting payments for each due date. This will also reduce the time required to prepare refunds for duplicate payments.
