Features
More than a quarter mile of cottonwood galleries are along the meandering Kiowa Creek. Living snow fences protect the southern boundary, a barn, windmill and corrals.

The upland native grass pastures and dryland alfalfa are excellent habitat for wildlife including ground nesting birds such as the Meadowlark and Lark Bunting, Colorado's state bird.

While the park is currently closed to the public, future plans include possible amenities such as horse and pedestrian trails, trailhead and regional trail connections.
