Arapahoe County's

Share the Season with Neighbors in Need!
Adopt a Family is a non-profit organization created by Arapahoe County Department of Human Services employees that seeks to
give a special holiday season to local families who are experiencing financial hardship and at-risk seniors or children who
are victims of abuse or neglect. The program is by referral only for citizens who are involved with the Arapahoe County Department
of Human Services.
Each year, Adopt a Family relies on donators from all over the metro-Denver area who graciously offer to purchase and wrap
new holiday gifts for these individuals. The gifts are presented to the families in-need at a specially-created "Winter Wonderland."
Matching of sponsors with families for gifts has been completed for 2011.
Thanks to the generosity of Arapahoe County citizens, employees, community organizations and businesses, the Adopt a Family program
provided more than 1,000 adults and children with a very special holiday.
However, gift cards or monetary donations are always welcome. All contributions and purchases toward the program are tax-deductible,
with 100% of the money going to families in-need.
Donations may be sent year-round to: Arapahoe County Human Services Adopt a Family Program 14980 E. Alameda Drive Aurora, CO 80012
