The Public Safety Bureau is commanded by Chief Bruce Williamson. Public Safety Bureau employees provide quality communication,
patrol, and investigation services to the estimated 173,000 citizens in our service area, which includes the City of Centennial,
unincorporated Arapahoe County and the towns of Foxfield, Bennett, Watkins and Deer Trail.The Public Safety Bureau is committed
to the principles of the COMPSTAT community policing process. Communication technicians serve as the initial contact between
the public and the Sheriff's Office, and as such, provide prompt and efficient assistance to any caller requesting service.
Patrol Deputies provide professional law enforcement services to our citizens while traveling the 864 square miles in our
service areas. Investigators conduct follow-up investigations to identify and locate criminals, and gather evidence that can
be used to obtain successful criminal prosecution. All Public Safety Bureau members are dedicated to the Sheriff's Office
